The boat is powered by a 95-hp Chris-Craft Model M engine.
Steve’s research showed that the boat was made in late summer/fall of 1941. These were some of the last “prewar” boats built before Chris-Craft went into full time war production. These boats were produced when Chris-Craft had updated to some “postwar” features like R&P screws, four vents, top feed fuel tank, and black-faced gauges.
This was Steve’s first full restoration and much of the wood needed to be replaced.
